Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I'm still chuckling from some of the things that happened at Reelfoot, and didn't want yall to forget about our next one  so this the status we have for the next Rendezvous, Location :  Kentucky  Lake in Tennessee,  Date : in April 2015.  We have chosen this because it is centrally located in the country, and it is before it gets too hot ,some of  our members cant handle the heat too well, everything is penciled in right now but we will set it into ink in early January . We are looking at a State park around Camden Tn as our get together point. So start planning, sharpen you hooks , set aside time to come because we plan on having even more fun than we did last fall . It was so much fun to get together with the people we talk to here on Bluegill Big Bluegill, and it's a hot bed of transfer of bluegill knowledge. Make plans to be there in 2015 , I know I will be there it's too much fun to miss , If you have any suggestions please feel free to let us hear them , we want this to be another success. LOFR

i will be in southern illinois fishing in april for 4 days so i'm out again.would have liked to come maybe with tooty but it's a trip i go on every year with lots of extended family and they can't catch a damn thing without me

You are welcome to come with me Jimmy , AAAAAAAAAAAANYTIME BUDDY.....

I found the State Park you mentioned, and it is about 8 hours from my NC location, so two days of driving, and one of fishing.  Hope someone else from my area will be going so that I can hitch a ride.

8 hours+ for me, too.
Long trip, unlikely to make it.
But you never know!

Ok , If you are planning to attend our next Rendezvous  please feel free to say yes i am interested so we can get a head count  and make sure that the facilities can hold  a bunch of fun loving , bluegill catching , fly swapping, fish hungry sportsman . I'll list who I know that have already said they will be there.

  1   LOFR

  2   Carl Hendrix

3   The Duncans ,   Dwayne and Stacy

This is just a quick count , we know that things can happen between now and then , so if your are interested add your name .   LOFR

ADD ME IN LOFR , ONE WAY OR ANOTHER I'LL BE THERE TO MEET EVERYONE !!!!!!!

count me in LOFR!!  around the first or last of April??

We need to decide if it's will be in the last week of April or the next to the last week of April    LOFR

in case you didn't see my other post on this

So why don't we have it in the first part of May when they are on the beds and it will still be cool temps?

I plan on coming and camping out. The later the better as weather nights in April are still pretty cool. The bluegills won't be on the beds but the crappie should be biting. The New Johnsonville Steam Plant is just across the river and the warm discharge gets the catfish going about that time.

So why don't we have it in the first part of May when they are on the beds and it will still be cool temps?

Just goggle mapped it from south Louisiana  ------>  530 miles / 8 hours

You can put me & wife down as a ------->  "maybe"

Usually have my garden planted by then and leaving my tender young

      plants for  4  days ? ? ? ? ? ?
