Do you love big bluegill?
rural North Carolina, places to fish
Have the time and the little boat for easy access and (i think) enough 'stuff' but finding fish is another story, have fished in Kerr lake, and fished in a small reservoir Butner NC, have not fished in falls lake but plan on doing so, and have not fished the Neuse river North of New Bern, and there is another river that needs to be looked at Trent river, a small river that feeds into the Neuse.
Lake Wacamau NW of Wilmington is reported to be quite a hot spot for bluegill, and that is my next target, like to find a spot where i could launch boat, load camping gear in boat and head off
sure would like to hear from all the other guys out there from eastern NC. I also know that would love to find some walleye to add to the pot
