Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This article is geared towards the trout man, but it surely has wider application. All fish essentially see the same way, considering they share the same environment. HOW they perceive what they see as food is the trick - it accounts for WHY they will take a little bit of fluff and fur and call it dinner.

I don't fly fish, but this article helps describe fish perception and memory, which is useful anytime. Good article.

I believe you're right, Ben. I wasn't a fly man either, until recently. But once I started down that path, I began to see the world of the FISH in a very different way.
The more wert know about their physiognomy, what motivates them and how the seasons apply to them, well...the better anglers we may become.
Most of fishing is between the ears, after all.
