Do you love big bluegill?
There is a reason why we are part of Tornado Alley!!!
The past two days, I've been glued to the local weather in the afternoons, tracking tornadic storms as they march across the state.
Me and my family are fine. Some rain, and a little wind. I've seen some small limbs down in my neighborhood, and one of houses a block south of me lost a BIG limb on a tree, which impacted a pickup truck windshield. This morning, I had a 24" long, finger-thick brach wedged between my rear window and the rear wiper blade on my van.
I hope that our other members from Oklahoma are safe and sound.

Allen, I have already contacted my friends in Tulsa and made myself available for For disaster relief , I'll add you to the list, Last month I was interviewed for a documentary on the similarities between the tornado in my hometown 40 years ago and the Joplin tornado, We had our high school graduation in the ruins of of our school and it was covered by NBC. Keep your head down. LOFR
LotF,R, Keep YOU HEAD LOW, YOUR LORDSHIP they were headin EAST!!!!!
Allen, glad to hear all is well with your family. Just sent Greg McWilliams a message to check on him as this was close to his neck of the woods. We took a tornado hear in Bama the size of this one about three years back and it is hard to believe the destruction until you see it first hand. I've been fortunate enough to just suffer property damage through the years. Really feel for those who have lost family. Stay safe!!!
Rex, Thank YOU for checking I alright !!!!!!!
The pictures are shocking from the Moore area......I hope all of our BBG family members are safe out there......Please pass it along when you hear from our friends out there!
I just heard from jen nayfly she said shes ok; closest one to her was 20 miles
Greg, Is fine, I was off in TOTO LAND!!!!!!! My DAUGHTER was in her SUV about 5 mile from the EDMOND tornado, with my GRANDTWINS!!!!! They were stuck on the INTERSTATE, rain was to HEAVY for HER to SEE!!!! That was YESTERDAY!!!!!
We're good here in my household.
I grew up here. I'm used to this. When you know it's going to be bad, just be ready. My other half, however, is from MICHIGAN. She panics at the mere thought of a tornado. We've been watching the weather non-stop when it starts up.
I'm glad that Jen and LOFR are ok. Hopefully Greg responds soon to let us know.
