We are having a record year for Crappies here on lake champlain with many 2+lb fish right now. The ice season was also spectacular with 10 inch gills on almost every trip up in the champlain islands. The state record seed was broken this ice season as well at 1lb3oz.

Shawn If the state record was just recently broke in your area and you have acess to fish those same waters then theres a great chance that there is a fish there bigger than that one. Soak up everything you can from this site and put your time in on the water and maybe justtttt maybe you can beat that record this spring!
