Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Here's a couple of small ties that I've done - have to wait for spring to try them as I don't ice fish anymore

Good looking Jigs Doug they all will do what they were made to do, catch fish. Great job.

what materials did you use on the first and second pics?

they look great

nothing wrong with those jigs. just add water!!

Thanks all

First one is just black mylar tubing, with a grizzly hackle collar

Second one is brown chenille with a hackle feather in between it and you keep spinning it, fold it back and it wraps around it self - makes for some cool bodies

ok thanks, im gonna have to try that with the chenille and hackle.

It takes a while to get used to doing it but when you get the hang of it they're a piece of cake!!  But they do eat  up the chenille and hackle.  Heres a video on how to do them
