Tooty, they look awesome.  Exactly the sort of thing I like to use.

hahahahahaha  they look great bruce!  try them out soon!!!

No telling which one your gills will like the best Bruce.....Tooty's "Silent Stingers" have become top shelf tackle in North Carolina......Good Luck and show us some big gills now!

YOU ARE WELCOME BRUCE and didn't know if you used this homemade stuff or not. Fish em slow buddy and try not to use a split shot if you don't have to . SIr Jeffrey seems to have had some success on em and was responsible for the pink ones of course . Let me know how they work out for ya...........

You can bet your boots, I'll try 'em!  And they're gonna work, too! :-)

GOOD BRUCE and the little ones with rubber legs have been catching fish for me for over 25 years now .......

You really gotta be careful when using these lures, Bruce. For safety sake, you might want to hide behind a bank side tree before you tie one on, so when the bluegills come flying out of the water you won't have to 'tap out' or get a concussion.

Or...you could do the Gronaw thing....wear a face shield before you cast!

There's another solution: a while back, I watched a video of these demonstrations shotgunners who could take a big handful (6 or 7, IIRC) clay targets, throw them up in the air, shoulder the (semi-auto) shotgun, and hit every one of them. You get one of those guys to be your fishing partner and you're all set :-)

So you actually do have to fish with those bugs?? From what I've read on here I was beginning to think you simply laid your fillet knife on the ground at your feet, propped in such a fashion that its edge was up, and waved a photo of these lures over the water....whereupon the BG would leap out of the water and come down on the knife, removing one fillet. Then, with the last of their strength, they would flip over and shave off the other side.....big grin
