Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

hey everyone. Looking for some help in IDing a fish I caught this morning. Its humeral spot is very much like a green sunfish but its body shape resembles a crappy. Any help would be great. Thanks

It looks like a Redear to me. Was the border on the eartab really that yellow, or was it more of an orange/red?

+1 It looks like a juvenile Redear

I'm thinking Redear as the others have suggested........

Standard issue redear.

Looks like a Red Ear with a yellow ear. Don't think it is a hybrid because it looks like a Red Ear and not leaning towards any other fish species.

Shellcracker to me also..
