Yeah, it's kind of a weird story about this fish.  I guess the guy caught it, put it in the boat and continued to fish for more stripers.  Then he went in to the dock, put it on ice in the bed of his truck and went to get a bite to eat at a restaurant.   Then he dove home and finally weighed it.  Then he went to sleep.  Man, I wonder how much weight this fish lost after waiting so long to be officially weighed?  The fish looks to be in pretty bad shape too.
Helluva nice fish.
What a giant striper I'm betting it was a blast to catch. What a great site we have here. Not only do we learn and hear about bluegills we learn and hear about all species of fish. There is no restrictions on what we can learn or the species we want to learn about. We have a lot of fish catching talent here and all we have to do is ask questions. I have found most will provide you with the answers. What a great bunch of guys and gals we have here with most ready to answer any questions to through at them. I have been fishing myself over 60 years and thought I knew a lot, but I can say since I've been part of big BIG BLUEGILL I have learn lots more than I could have ever imagined. To some it up especially to the new members don't be afraid to ask them questions, who knows someone else may benefit from the answer also. GOOD FISHIN..
My best Striper was a 35 pounder after that I went to Walleye fishing. After that I fish all lakes and rivers for all kinds of fish.

35 lb. striper is a great fish . Your Walleys on your living room wall are bisg fish as well!

Multi species fishing does it for me too but never caught a Striper..YET.

Thanks John I like all fish to that is what keeps us going. Where have you been and when r u going to let me on you fb page? I will not take you fishing untill:-)))))))))))))
