Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I'm fairly new to this website and havn't ever posted anything, but I fish for bluegill and other panfish alot.  I fish many different lures, but my absolute favorite lure and the lure I use the most is trout magnet.  Almost all the colors work, but chartruse is my favorite.  Using these in streams I catch everything from panfish to stocked trout to smallies.  I wanted to know if anyone else uses trout magnet and if they have had any luck on them?

Trout Magnets are awesome little lures!  Try tipping the hook with a waxworm.

They work well on Trout ,Gills,Perch and Crappie. This year  I caught  Yellow Perch on eight or so different colors.64th oz. heads are perfect for Gills.

Thanks Jeff!  I'll have to try that!
I just started using trout magnet last summer. They are a great lure. I do have some problem with them sliding down the jig hook. I may try some superglue this year. I like to tip them with a white "crappie nibble". Wax worms are getting expensive around here.
Have used the deep purple with chartruse and caught fish, they just seem to tire of it quickly.
