Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie on these forums I found out about this looking at stuff about bluegills they are my favorite fish. I see their are a few forum members from Wisconsin. I am from the Oshkosh area and enjoy fishing for gills in the summer and winter and have done pretty good over the last couple of summers and winters. Hope to meet some people on here with the same intersts as me
Thanks
Scott

Welcome Scott......
I am Kiana...fishing lover or addict which ever you choose!! LOL
I am also pretty new and have found this place to be pretty informative. The people are great and seem to be genuine....you've come to the right spot for bluegill interests!!!!
I am a newbie also, I found this site through my wife, she loves to fish also. Welcome!!
Make sure to join the Wisconsin Ice Fishers group. Really nice guys there. :-)
Welcome Scott......I am a newbie also, I found this site through surfing the net. I believe that this site is very informative. I fish Lake Geneva in southern Wisconsin for Gills and Smallmouth Bass. I no longer ice fish but do remember the great times that I had on the Chain of Lakes in Northern Illinois and Lake Geneva.
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcomes I feel very welcomed here. Its nice to see that their is interest in bluegills. I am looking forward to making some friends on here and being a active member. I usually fish Millers Bay here in Oshkosh and have done very good for some decent sized gills. I don't keep them at all because my gf doesn't eat bluegills and I don't want to take the fish and waste it so I play them and throw them back.
Thanks again
Scott
Hey scott I'm from oshkosh as well. Last weekend me and dave who also is on the site here(from fond du lac) went down to geneva to catch some gills... lemme say.. I'm so spoiled catching those that the gills up here do not compare! AT ALL!

Hello Scott, Welcome aboard the Bluegill Hunt. Here are a few location in your neck of the woods for some Bluegill fishing. http://www.gameandfishmag.com/2010/09/30/fishing_crappies-panfish-fishing_wi_aa016005a/ I believe that these will keep you busy for a while. Please let all of us know how you are doing on these body's of water. Take some pictures and tell us your experiences. You have the best of both worlds because you can fish open waters and ice covered waters. Good luck in your hunt.

Ron
