Those are some rockin' 'gills!

Welcome to BBG!

Holy Moly man!!

Soon as I saw the pics I had to see where you are from.

Michigan!! Were these caught in MI? Im from the detroit area and I get 8's regularly and 9's occasionally...but that many 10's at once? People will say they get catches like that...but this is the first photo evidence I have ever seen of a catch like this in these parts!!

great job!

catches like the bottom pic are great! But catches like the top...well, I think I might just have those mounted =)

-Shoot me a PM if you are ever looking for a fishing partner =) If you live in the SE that is.

I was hoping these pics would get me some instant creds. :)

It's funny you say that, because without this picture evidence no one would have believed me. I caught the big ones last July and the mess in late spring last year. We actually caught about 200-250 gills that day but this is all we could keep (we accidentally kept about 8 or 9 more than the limit).  There's quite a few in that bottom picture that are already cleaned in those bags (about 40).  I live in the Traverse City area and these were caught in small lakes around Torch Lake. I actually have a lot of pictures of those bigger gills and am planning on getting them all mounted on a stringer when I have some extra cash.

Getting ready for Bluegill sushi huh?
Welcome to Big BlueGill Justin. You are quite a fisherman. What did you catch those 'gills on?
