Tightline 1/32 oz. jig tipped with a waxworm around lilypads and cypress trees & knees.
Fish the deep side of weed lines, near drops to deeper water. Wade in to get there, if needed.
Fish waters that contain quality Bluegill.  That's half the battle.  Use quality light gear.  Make long casts and have fun!

There have been lots of great threads in the four year history of www.bigbluegill.com

But I've always thought this one was the best.

Anybody got any new contributions?

Read the wind and the water.  Wind stirs water, which lifts detritus, which attracts wiggly things with no backbones.

Chuck a spoon soon, because you'll never know it, until you throw it!

cover water. pay attention. analyze patterns. join this website and ask questions. consider weather, water temp and clarity.

fish like the fish are suspended, the bottom/ thermocline/ top water, oh yeah!

Always trust your instincts, Wind out of the East,  fish bite least, Wind out of the West, fish bite best!

Get off couch. Go fishing. Fish wont catch themselves.

Find the creek channels and flats in your lake, then anchor accordingly and fish on bottom with redworms.

I caught this one today at Weiss Lake in Centre Alabama on a two pound Cricket
