I wish they had something that I could wear. Not even in the customized shirts or hats is there anything I like. Very picky I guess. Also, I can't fish without getting dirt all over me, so I find it strange that the shirts are only available in white or light gray. BTW - is that YOU BGBM in the hat?
NO, NOT ME!!!!! It is a stock photo of some weirdo with an earring. His first name is Greg.

There are all kinds of other items you can have the logo on. Coffee cups, coasters, clocks. But not boat paddles!!!
I bought a white polo and seem to recall a number of color choices. Maybe they've changed. Greg's hat is tan, not white or gray.
About your getting dirty while fishing problem. You're not crawling on the bank trying to sneak up on them are you? I've heard of that but just laughed and kept catching fish the upstanding way. Worms are another dirt source, another good reason to use crickets.
I get dirty from the fish dragging across the bank, then onto my lap, wiping my hand on my clothes, carrying the bucket, chair, etc. after they have been in the dirt. I don't know, dirt seems to fly at me. I used to have a neighbor who could work all day in a white T-shirt and not get a speck on him. I admired that man.
My wife has the same problem. You should see us after we've painted the walls of a room at home. I'm Mr Clean and she's Dirty Sally. I think it has something to do with a womans claim to fame, "Multi-tasking". Men do one thing at the time, women do several plus half of what he missed. Knock yourself out is all guys think.
Did you see my pond forum about the new fishing gear I bought?
No, I'll try to find it.
I wanted a henley long sleeve shirt in a dark color. That's the only kind of shirt I wear. Can't stand shirts touching my neck. Must be due to the scratchy sock with vick's vapor rub on it my mother would insist on wrapping around our necks if we had a cold. And, the only hat I wear has a brim all around for the sun. Lots of sun here in TX. I want a tea cup that holds at least 16 oz. They don't have any of those things.
I recall seeing similar companies you could send your own item and they would put the logo on and send it back. That was a long time ago, but it still might be available from this company anyway.
With this being a How To group, I thought I'd throw one in. How many times have you (me Included), noticed a loop in the middle of our spinning reel spools? The best way to get it out is to loosen the drag enough so that you can pull the line from the spool with your hand. Keep pulling until the loop pops out. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, OPEN THE BAIL. YOU'LL HAVE MORE THAN JUST ONE PROBLEM ON YOUR HANDS!!

Another trick I've learned about getting memory out of monofilament spinning reel is to hook your lure to a fence, loosen your drag, and slowly but steadily walk backwards pulling your rod. This stretches the line and removes the memory. Leave the line hooked and reel the line back onto the spool. If you fish regularly, change your line at least once a month. Nick.
OK Nick, thanks for tips. Didn't know you were into that kind of kinky stuff. Now that I know, I have an assignment for you. These tips are just like a lot of other good tips on this site. Doomed to be LOST IN SPACE! That is because you posted them in a discussion about How To get Bigbluegill logos. Kinky stuff deserves it's own discussion with a cool title like "HOW TO Get The Kinks Out". That is your assignment. Make a seperate HOW TO group discussion about your theorys on kinks in your line. If you'll do it that way then future gillers, especially the young bunch who want to learn from our experience, will be able to come to the HOW TO group for findable answers to their questions. Don't forget to add tags to your discussion to make searching from the main page easier. I hope you'll do this Nick, because I was unaware of either method of ironing out the kinks in my line. It's a good HOW TO, just needs its own discussion.
Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try. Nick.
