Fly fishing for gills and redears

But want to get a fly rod (from bass pro shops of the Internet) and wonders if anyone would tell me a good combo for bluegill and sunfish and some good flies also I would like it if the products would from bass pro shops I have mowed all summer and have a really no budget to stay on if no rod reel set ups come to mind a good rod weight and line weight (as I am new to fly fishing) but I probably should be able to handle a 2-3 lb bass if I hook one of those too thanks Andrew

I would go with a 5wt set up. A 5 wt is light enough for pan-fish and heavy enough for most bass and catfish too.

As far as flies, I like the Betts® Panfish Kit, and any Betts® Popper Assortment that BP offers.
