I finally got out to fish it felt great and we know it don't take much to make me happy in the fishing department. My sweet sister in law said she would set with the wife if I wanted to go. I guess we knew what that answer would be. I didn't catch lots of fish but I caught some quality fish. That don't mean I didn't catch any small ones cause I did. I threw them back. I did get about 6 P seeds probably between 6 and 7 inches that I wish I had kept and put in my pond, to me they are the most beautiful fresh water fish going. I used 1 ½ inch white pearl twister tail with a red 1/16 oz head. I caught total of 6 crappies,4 large mouth bass, 6 punkin seeds, 3 bluegills, 1 rock bass and 8 small perch. Had a blast. Have a good day and GOOD FISHIN..

James,
Thanks for the info. As a kid I fished the rivers and an old timer always used crawdads. He killed smallmouth with them. Around NE Indiana I rarely find crawfish in bluegills. I always examine stomach contents. Ive caught thousands of bluegill and have never caught a pounder. Any chance of hooking up?
Thanks-----Tom

nice gill!I read a comment that it could be a bluegill/GSF cross. Does GFS mean giant sunfish? I've never heard about fishing for gills with crawfish. I would think the bottom would have to be clean and not real weedy. Tell me more about this technique.Hope to hear from you.
Tom
