It's real, Honest-to-God Scotch.. I mean.. Scottish. Came from around the Boarders with a story about a geographical fixture. And that's the truth! Would I lie? I'm a fisherman.

I just hope you ain't one of them fella's that wastes the best part of a bluegill by filleting it. Man alive. Them folks are missing the best part. The tailfin.
And thanks for the welcome, I think. Naw, I preshateit.
Hey BBM, thanks for the insight. I must say this, everything I have, including my home, is paid in full, therefore I have better options than most. Thanks again, Jim
Hey Boogieman, thanks for the kind welcome! We're not that far apart, ya know. I do most of my fishing on Lake Talquin, but I want to learn Seminole. I just got a boat to fish from last week, so I'm ready to do some exploring. I've been fishing with a buddy for quite a while from his boat, so I was pretty much tied to what he wanted to do. I feel like a free man, now!
Hey, I've had this crazy notion for a little while now. There is a point in the middle of the Chattahoochee where Fla, Ga, and Ala all come together. That point is also bisected by the line between Eastern and Central time. I thought it would be cool to anchor on that spot and try to fight a fish through 3 states and 2 time zones. Not sure anybody has ever done that! :-D
Boogieman, That is one sweet nickname your self! My buddies started calling me bullworm. It might be because I'm 6'-1" or so and pushing 300. That could be the bull part, worm...cause I fish alot, ALOT!! Its funny you asking about a design, I just so happen to be working on a drawing of a bull gill! Give me a couple of days here and I will have it posted in my pictures. If you like it I can send it to ya! Take care friend!
Boogieman, That is a sweet nickname as well!! Somme of my buddies started calling me bullworm bcause I'm a big ol'boy, 6' 1" and comin' in at 300 or so and I fish! FISH ALOT! I would love to help you out with your idea. As a matter of fact I'm working on a drawing of a gill that you my be interested in. Give me a couple of days and I will have it posted in my pictures.
Hello Boogieman,
Thanks for the welcome to the site. I do have a bit of a problem trying to figure out how to operate on this site. This is the only one I have ever been a part of. I did read the review on the tool and found it to be very nice. I am some what like the fellow that said he would make one only this tool turned out to quite an effort to make. I hope I can add to the overall knowledge of the group as an avid fly fisherman. There are some HUGE gills on this site and I would love to catch one on my 2#. I have never caught one as big as these but only fish foam poppers and underwater spiders and it seems hard to fool the really big ones.
Thanks again for the GOOD words,
Terry
Hello Boogieman! A circle hook is a short , very short shanked hook and the point is bent inward. These hooks are designed to hook fish in the corner of the mouth instaniously preventing a swallowed hook. Google it, awesome hooks!
Hey, nice to meet you. Glad to see a local here as well. Right at this moment I'm in Kuwait, Camp Arifjan working for the military. I will be home in Oct. I cant wait to get my 2 sons and the boat out on the water. Hope to find some good fishing holes
