Those jigs look simply amazing! Especially the powder blue one. I'm always plotting and planning the next jig pattern to try and wouldn't have thought of those. Dick, you truly are a wizard on jig tying. My hats off to you!

Thanks Tooty something I can up with this winter. You get many opinions on different jigs. Flash no flash, eye and no eyes plain Jane or no plain Jane and certain time of the year they all have their place. Me I fish Spring and summer and I think Flash is a big part of the jig that part and time of the year. If the bait is right once you get the fishes attention and the flash you can see so far off the bait will do the rest if per portioned right. Eyes is something in my opinion you can't miss with weather just a spot of paint or a good quality 3D eye. Use to be I painted all my eyes on mush faster but the new 3D eyes on the market look so real I use them 90 percent of the time now. They come in all sizes and colors and I have thousands of them cause I really believe in them that much.

Thanks for the diary Jeffrey humbling to me  to say the least. Wished I was in the position I could make lots of them up but for now that just can't happen. I'm thankful that your testing them out for me as again I'm not in the position to even do that at least not yet. The biggest part to this whole thing is your doing me a favor trying out some of my personal stuff and I'm getting feedback from you.. Feedback is vary important to me so I know what if any changes to make. I know you had lots of things to try out this year and very appreciative you were able to fit me in. I told you I did have one improvement I wanted to address that being a 3D eye. When I get back and up to it I'll get them going and get some out to you. Again thank you so much for your input.

I'm real excited about these and I already have some top shelf grass shrimp that Dick made last season....you can't buy this kind of quality from store shelves or magazine pages......I'm thankful for the opportunity to meet guys on this site like Mr. Tabbert......This bait is still conceptual for all intensive purposes yet it was a rock star on multiple species this past weekend......several strangers looked at them and the first thing they asked was ..."what store did you buy those at".......I chuckled inside.......

So Friday got here after a busy work week and despite heavy winds I had to go try a while and here's how it went first time out with the Jelly Jigs.......

This Seed was a sign of things to come.....

And the chartreuse was hit right out of the box.....

Predators were also pounding it and after dozens of fish the bait was holding up nicely......good job on these Dick....

Mr. Crappie couldn't resist either.......

So their is a package in my box last Tuesday from Ohio........Seems Dick has been working on some jigs and knows how I love to fish jigs under a float and he hoped I had some time to try a few of his "jelly jigs"....You take a look and see if you would fish them.....LOL

Look at the flash on these.......I loved them right out of the bag and had to tie one on that night......
