"I particularly enjoyed the "fact" that one must first allow bluegill to air-dry before cleaning so they're not as slippery.  Not the best advice if one prefers one's fish to be fresh..."

Certainly not "correct," it had an interesting mix of folklore, fact, and plain goofiness. Like Walt, I got a kick out of the "air dry" method.

I would respectfully submit that the author of that quiz should learn a little more about bluegill before writing a quiz that purports to be authoritative on the fish..."Bluegill" is not a family, but rather a single species within the sunfish family; likewise, "perch" is a nickname for bluegill in Texas, but is not a proper, i.e. official, term for the fish; etc.
