Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Last week I lost my life time fishing partner and friend, my father, after a long but brave battle with pancreatic cancer, and just yesterday I lost my awesome Navy Veteran grandfather on my mothers side, also after a brave battle with cancer. Such a rough week, I need to go fishing.

Next time you BBG Friends go out, catch some fish for a couple of fallen brethren. Thank you guys.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Chris during a very difficult time.....You can rest assured that I'll have a line in the water for both of these fine men. As a 22 year veteran of the Submarine force myself, I have the utmost respect for your grandfather and his naval service. May the great memories of fishing trips you had with your father serve to comfort you and help get you through this rough time. He's looking down on you hoping you catch that big one!

Chris, I'm so sorry for your loss,  I know exactly how this loss feels , but I know that those that go before us are marking the honey holes , catching a 2 pounder every cast, and waiting for us to be reunited again , fishing buddies forever.  LOFR
