Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I have got to get a hobby or go compeltly bonkers. Long story short a person needs a destraction from stress. Fishing puts me on the water and more importantly someplace that's quiet. I don't need a lot of equipment.

I am in Sumter SC not far from Lake Marion and the Wateree River. So far I am concentrating on Sparkleberry Swamp and Beech Creek located on the back side of Manchester State Forrest. I am always looking for places that most folks overlook or can't reach. To do that I chose a small kayak. Its not much to look at but it works.

I am always looking to go fishing with a buddy so if your in the area hit me up. I have a few options...one canoe...jon boat...and 3 kayaks. I don't mind sharing my toys.

If you know anything about Sparkleberry or Marion I am looking for some tips. So far the fish have left me skunked there.

There are so many SC folks here, they'll offer up you a storm of tips and tricks. Kayaking is a great sport to release stresses, and calm your nerves. Toss fishing into the mix, and stresses get nullified with excitement, and fatigue when you're chasing monsters beneath the waters. There are times we need to just halt, and break away from all the craziness of life, and fish..unfortunately for me, this not my time..or will be my time..for a long while. But for any moment that offers me some time on the water, I will gladly take it.
