Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I was thinking maybe if I got my wife an electric reel I can get her fishing again and that would be to my benefit maybe I can fish more than once or twice a year cause she'll be with me. The one's I seen through the internet look big and heavy. I need small and light. I know she loves to fish maybe this will be the ticket so she can enjoy it once again. I know I will have to order it because I've never seen them in any sporting goods store and I know there not cheep so I really need to shop around. Any info will be great and maybe a step closer to her fishing again.

Dick, That looks like a good one there , I don't think the fly reel would work as due to casting!!!!! Be sure and let everyone here know how it works!!!!!

Greg I know you been looking hard for me. I think I found the reel that will work for her at the site you gave me. fishingabilities.com . They have a zebco trigger spin with a small electric motor on it. Looks like it will work. I appreciate your time Greg and again thankyou for the info. Please keep in touch and above all GOOD FISHIN..

I seen it and it looks good till I come up to the casting. I don't know much about fly fishing but it is not castable is it.

I am not sure if your wife can move her legs or not. My Grandpa had one arm and he used a Zebco, he would hold his pole handle between his knees and reel with his one hand. I hope that helps you and your wife.

That is a nice reel Greg. Looks like the ticket.

Dick could she handle a telescoping pole with one hand?
