Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This setup has been producing some very nice gills late in the day.

1/16 oz RFS spoon rigged with a Maniac gizzy bug (horizontally)....it detours the little gills at that time of day when the flasher lights up with activity.

Thanks MM .Great report .I've been catching lots of Gills but nothing over 8".Sure would like to get them bigger .I will whip out the RFSpoons next time out and try to do just that.Have you tried the Lindy Rattlin Flyer? I've gotten decent Gills on it .More of a Perch Lure I guess and the Treble hook is a bit Big for Gill numbers .Perhaps if I change it to a smaller hook ?
