Thanks guys. These gills come out of this river so dark because the water is almost black in these North Carolina marshes. I showed Wes the red hook and he refuses to change now! This fish was in the upper Pasquotank. Hurricane Irene knocked down alot more trees in this river for next year. As you can tell, my neighbor doesn't want his picture taken, just the Gill!
