The Slider copies are #6 (left) and #4 (right) cricket hooks, bent to shape. The weight is wrapped solder. Ive gone to that for ease of manufacture. It also allows me to adjust the weight as wanted.
Each is different in subtle ways. The one on the left has the hook bent differently, so it is inline with the head. The weight is also flattened, although you cant really tell that in this pic. The one on the right has a rounded head, and the the hook bent a la Charlie Brewers version.
They take about a minute to make, now that I have it down. I posted these becasue in a another thread a member was asking about weedless rigs
David, those look very nice. So is that sodder for the weights or is that split shot for the weights? What size hooks did you use again? I am really impressed they look like they came from Charlie Brewer. Nice job.

So far, the Sliders have produced.
The mono loop thingie in this pic is just for illustration - the loop here is made from line that is too thin.
But this method has also worked when I've tried it.
I think that oughta' do it! Nice job.
