I may have a few similar curved hooked items of yours that caught some fish in cold water and through the ice.

Someone asked me for a stepXstep so I tied one up and made a stepXstep for a wax worm. Thinking about it more clearly If and when I make another I will use #10's so you can add 1 or 2 live waxworms  nothing like the smell of real bait. Also I tie mine on a curved shank hook it just easier to tie them on a straight shank hook to start out with but the curved hooks makes it look more to life I think.
