Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Tough wind today but glad to have gotten this fine 13"Crappie on a split shot/crawler on a drift with a drift sock . The Trout that hit a 4" swim bait at the boat was only on for a half second before getting off .A small Bass, only other Fish in the boat, hit a crankbait. SWT ,61-63 degrees.

Very nice Slab John….the wind has been a challenge here too for several days since the Friday night front…..we’ve had 40s every night since so I’m encouraged for the next couple weeks as water temperatures fall through the 60s……throw in the Full Moon tomorrow night and we should be looking at some pretty good Fall fishing around here…..good luck to you and good job tricking this nice crappie….
