Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The white perch bite made getting to the gamefish difficult.....a mixed bag of 62 fish with 22 crappie off one cypress fall........tore off several more larger fish but beautiful to see.......these are both over 14" and each are two pounds plus.........We are up in the high 70s again today and after a little rain tonight a few more days in the 80s........water temps climbing into the middle 60s in most northern Albemarle creeks and rivers.........

As stated a very special place Carl.......come join me!......These keep me humble for sure Mike......A crappie limit in North Carolina is 20 and I have exceeded 40 pounds in the spring on this creek for a 20 crappie creel........Easter Sunday in 2003 I had a light drizzle and 64 degree water temps........hit a duck blind in two feet of water and culled to a 41 pound stringer of Black Crappie..........one of the best quality trips for me ever in North Carolina waters..........
