Thas pretty interesting to me - no native species, just Yanks!

ALL the dams around here are man made, this one about 100 years ago. There where never any native fish in any of these dams. One day I would like to fly fish for yellowfish in the Vaal River.

It is a wide and rugged place, isn't it?

Do you ever catch any of your native species?

Trout are an invasive species here also we often have droughts and then the water either dries or gets really, really hot.

No trout, unfortunately. Bass and BG. Unlikely to ever get trout.
