Thanks for other pics. My uncle lived in Buras La., We would go down where crab boats came in, there was this rocking beach there and crab fish, with chicken necks and legs. Great times, We would catch trash cans full of them. Thanks Dwayne

A chicken leg on string is how we caught them La. We just pulled them to a dip net. I live in IL and people thank I am telling them a big one, when I talk about this method...Dwayne

Greg I use chicken legs on a string so you catch all hard crabs with that technique. I have a supplier for the Soft Shells. Many watermen here in Carolina will catch crabs that are ready to shed (called "Peelers") and keep them in tanks until they shed and become Soft Shells. Fried Soft Shells are delicious. I haven't caught a Paper Shell since I grew up in Louisiana. Thanks for the comment and hope you guys get some drought relief soon!
