Thanks guys.

Dick, a 18'' crappie is a hog!! I have caught a lot of crappie with my biggest 16 3/4 @ 2 pound 8 oz so I know how hard it is to catch a big crappie. I only live 2 hours from Lake Murray but have never fished there. I can't seem to pass Lake Greenwood with out fishing it.. I stay off the Greenwood until the fall and will fish it all winter. Caught a lot of 2 pound fish last winter there. The two that I'm holding in my signature pic was 2.6 and 2.4 and released after the pic was taken. I have a few videos I made last winter while fishing. With the new limit and size laws that just went into effect July 1st our crappie size should improve. State wide a crappie has to be 8'' to keep and we now have a 20 crappie limit. We also now can only keep 15 redbreast, that will help our bream,.

Great Crappie Ronnie. I caught my best an 18" out of Lake Murry in S.C. many, many moons ago.
