I live between Johnstown and Altoona, PA. The forecast for the next 15 days calls for cold temps so maybe the ice-cold eather is here to stay.

Skim ice on smaller ponds where I live. I don't know about lakes; haven't been able to check. If they aren't locked up, all the snow we're getting today should help with that. Lots of folks around here are saying we'll be on the ice before Christmas.

I'm so excited. We have a skin of ice on our area lakes. If the cold weather holds we could have ice fishing before Christmas.
