Do you love big bluegill?
Chunky one!
This one was right at 10" long, but the girth was almost 15".

Check out how short the transition is from the body to the tail......couple that with a relatively small tail, and you have a fast growing, well-fed fish. This is the body shape that produces state records! Excellent fish!
