Had Our First Crawfish Boil of 2016 Yesterday.......
We have been so excited to get Louisiana Red Crawfish locally..........and they have been very tasty!

There's a lot of folks here that trap crawfish for "personal consumption". Rusty Crawfish are not only invasive, but are out-breeding and out-competing the native crawfish, and folks are urged to catch all they want of the Rusties.

Thanks guys.......Hey Allen......these guys are farm raised.....not native to North Carolina.......I felt like I hit the lottery back when I learned these guys were available "live" locally.......they are growing some great specimens here for sure........
