Do you love big bluegill?

Yes! However, it's also dependent on the growth stage of the fishes, and seasons. The matured species know exactly what to honed in on, where the frys will hammer anything and everything. Remeber the toxicological consumption vs survival adaptation? Instintively, larger fishes will consume larger meals that may contain higher toxin loads, while frys instinctively evade. Color combos and size presentation is crucial fly elements.

SO let me ask you - do you think bass and bluegill are attracted to different colors?

They are in the same family and essentially see the same. But do believe they are motivated to bite by different visual cues?

Just keep at it. Color combos are everything. Try and try again. It takes many tries to find that awesome combo to hammer the gills away. Now, you got a bass combo to lock and stock for yearsto come.

I like these little 1-2 pounders - they come out of the water so willingly and run back and forth like little savages.
