Thanks Gerome.......I fish the jig suspended under a float 98 percent of the time since 10 months out of the year I'm fishing in water six feet or less.......My presentation is normally to cast away from the strike zone if possible and pop the jig back through the target..........different situations will dictate........I have a discussion about Fishing Jigs Under  a Float Gerome so you may find some of that material helpful if you get a chance to look it over..........

Jeffrey, those are some nice fish! Question - do you fish the jig under a float or just tight line the jig? If under a float do you use a slow retrieve?
