Do you love big bluegill?
The Giant Marsh Horsefly of Coastal North Carolina….7/11/2021
Look closely at all the color markings on this insect, no wonder why the colorful jigs work well….that’s an amazing green…..fish jump on these guys if they hit the water….

Thanks Bruce, yes these guys do bite but real hard to surprise you when they sound like a helicopter…..we battle with deer flies in these parts, once they find you ….they have to be killed….they are relentless and can bite through light clothing….it seems like they drink repellent like a fruit smoothie……

Do they bite? We have flies here in PA that bite and they can put a sting on you.
