Thanks Slip and Steve......we have been fortunate on the milder air.........hear you on the water temps.......I've actually seen 96 to 97 degrees here late summer in past years and the fishing suffers immensely above 88 degrees in my experience......Hope you guys get some relief soon out west Steve......Amen on liking the summer picture better Slip!
Beautiful photo Jeffrey. Love your fishing photos. 454 gills for August is a great catch. Fishing over here has been real slow because of hot weather and no rain. Lake and river levels are very low here, causing fish to go into hiding.
I like the way you think Leo.....lol........I'll set loftier goals once I retire in a few years!
Looks like you're not fishing enough. Need to hit the 9999 and beyond mark before the cold days arrive.
Hey thanks guys........Leo I'm sitting at 3,744 gills for 2015 with 454 caught during the month of August that has been filled with below average temperatures which has supplied some decent gill fishing during a month that is traditionally tough........1,206 of those gills are trophy class of 10" or better dominated by the beloved Coppernose that continues to thrive in the Albemarle region.....
a rareity here; the red chariot;; sitting idle ;; and Jeff not fishing out of it! great looking boat Jeffery !!
Very tranquil....
