5/25/13 MY GILL FLY ROD SHAKESPEARE MODEL 1470
ROD MADE IN 1955 I believe and the real is a JW YOUNG Beaudex made about same time from in England. Small reel that fit's the rod perfectly . 5 weight forward floating with a JIM COSGROVE POPPER READY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!

I FORGOT TO MENTION that in the sunlight this rod is a beautiful translucent green , STUNNING TO BE SURE . THE weather here today is cold and raining or I"d have taken a sunny shot !
