I'd like to see this rig after it has been pulled through a ball of slime weeds....

John this can be trolled but it is actually a casting rig

Comment by Derrick Bustle on April 25, 2012 at 1:44pm

the full rig cost about 16.99 for the rig, $40 for the 30lb test braid, $10 for the swim baits to go on the rig, and $5 for the jig heads.I have about $60 in just the stuff im throwing plus the heavy rod and real

This is definitely not for light test pound line. Minimum is 10lbs. Casting this thing with anything less than 10lbs, you'll see your $5 to $20 rig go bye-bye.

This is a happening concept lately! Don't know if I can utilize it where I usually fish though .What is the individual weight of these lures and what # test line do you troll the rig with?

Yeah they have the panfish ones here too. they use them to catch Crappie

Some guys at Marburg are toying with smaller versions of the A-Rig to target white perch that school and suspend. It would be a trolling application.

Well they do have the finesse versions of this so i might get those and throw smaller swim baits. Im going for some Large spotted bass this year.

Lucky! With such relaxed regulation. I think it would even be better if you have a nice team of crawdads on those hooks to target panfish. That's the ultimate bait right there. But, this will be the best rig for multiple species all around.
