Beautiful massive give Bruce with very highlited and distinctive coloring. In a scale of 1 to 10 10 being the best I'm sure it is an 11. Great one Bruce.

Well you showed us all what we should be aspiring to there Mr.Condello !!!!!!!!!! Some of the most beautiful markings on a gill I've ever seen Bruce. Thanks for putting it up for all to enjoy.

Thanks for the comments! My first comment on this fish was, "Man, this fish looks like it grew up in an aquarium!". The colors, scales...everything were just perfect. Amazing what good nutrition will do for you. Another comment to make is that this fish grew up in an environment that increased competition for prime spawning grounds. In other words, there was no harvest of mature parental males, which ultimately kept some males off the spawning beds, which means that they simply put on the feed bag again, and waited a year more to spawn. This means better growth, and better overall condition.

These fish have a diet that is a strong combination of both pellets and natural forage. We believe that's why their growth rates are so astonishingly good. Excellent nutrition, combined with excellent availability.
