Do you love big bluegill?
Most of today's Fliers were 8 to 8.75 inches.......fun to catch when they mix in with a good Crappie bite like today..........

Jim I'm sure you were in great hands with a great guide.
It was a highlight of trip struck with bad weather and major motor issues restricting our opportunities Jim.......but anglers have a way of overcoming obstacles and we did it together and the trophy Flier is one of the memories for me also.......These fish are very relentless and had I had any other live bait but minnows today it appeared they were stacked up in the same creek.......little harder to hook on big gear and a few were deep hooked while trolling but most were released and that also makes me happy! We're very fortunate to have the numbers and quality Fliers in the Albemarle Estuary.......
I feel priveladged to have caught my personal best flier under Jeffrey's guidance. A really cool sunfish specie. WTG!
Thanks Dick....
Wow a double header on fliers I'm so jealous.
