Figures Ben , my experience shows me they can't resist Live Crawlers. My 1st Smallmouths years ago were caught on a bell sinker dropped to the bottom in 10+ feet 8" above #4 or 6 bait holder and crawler .Since those early days i have found they will hit many presentations .Crawler perhaps the best way though .
