It is made of EP fibers. Or you can use Congo Hair, same thing. Start with longer fibers rotating back and forth from the top colors to the white belly color, shortening up the fibers as you get closer to the hook eye. Glue on eyes, and use Sharpie marker to add stripes and etc.

i use that same fly just a lot bigger for bluefish and striper in salt water

I love to Smallmouth bass fish in my local creeks/rivers! Will trade flies anytime.
