Do you love big bluegill?
Today's Surprise Was a May Fly Migration..........5/13/2018
Shortly after first light I noticed a lot of surface blow ups and quickly figured out these flies were the culprit......I grabbed my net and scooped a handful.........although not as big as a cricket the fish would hammer these guys...........Crazy

Yep.......it paid off for me to scoop s handful and tip my jigs with them........I also began to pull jigs out that closely matched the color of these floating insects........in some areas you could count more than a hundred on the surface in one small area.......fish were also jumping up and taking them off the flooded cover where they began to accumulate overnight..........
