Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I was surprised the bite was so good under high skies and air temperatures near 90 degrees......the fish are ready to move in....

Enjoy and share some pictures when you return....got another North Carolina member coming in for a few days next week.....going to show him and a friend around a bit....starting to have a few Fall weather days which makes for enjoyable fishing after the dog days,,,,,

Hope you have safe travels and great times.....catch a few fish and chew the fat! I'll be somewhere here on the good old estuary...the Crappie bite is creating a magnetic field but I may be strong enough to lat it rest for a couple days...LOL...yesterday was a lot of fun!

The gills are pulling out of these shallow regions in exchange for a little deeper water and a bit cooler....These areas were close to 90 degrees on the surface yesterday...very little fish activity in those conditions...
