On My First Cast…..Very strong Indicator……4/23/2023

Caught this tuxedo right away and it was a great indicator for the rest of this fishing trip….

Thanks Mikey-D……we’re amongst our second big push shallow for the crappie down here……I traditionally shift over to bluegill come May but will keep an eye out for both this weekend…those predators always move crappie, catfish and white perch are bad here…..

Looks like you are on the crappie Jeff  i cant buy one in our lake right now the pickerel have ran them out for the time being. Went crappie fishing last weekend and caught 15 pickerel back in our crappie hole.

Thanks Jack….I wasn’t sure how it would be after severe storms and heavy rain overnight but I believe crappie aren’t as negatively impacted as bluegill…….nothing big today a lot of cookie cutter fish from 11 to 12 inch class….good times…
