Water still a bit chilly and way too low for good spring fishing......but it should start coming back in tomorrow....

Thanks guys......Frank I almost exclusively fish under a float and will rarely fish directly on bottom in these local rivers which are loaded with structures that often inhibit tight lining......I monitor water depth closely and will cross paths with some nice shellcrackers near bottom in relatively shallow water......These fish were in and around downed trees in three feet of water.....actually hung up several times trying to fish the area thoroughly after picking a few up......An 11 to 12 inch cracker is a special fish in these brackish waters......

It was good to get out after being a hostage to Mother Nature most of last week Carl........wound up with 28 fish of six different species.......
