Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This past Tuesday in the rain Greg and I caught 19 Pickerel and 1 Crappie .52.7-52.9 degree Water Temp. Pickerel hit a variety of spoons a few on Live bait trolled on spinner harnesses.Keitech 4"Easy shiners and Swing impact also caught some .The 15",1#14oz. Crappie took a Perch pattern Shad Rap. Most fish were caught casting to 7' and shallower in the remaining pads and weeds

Leo 15.5" and a bit over 2# I think. but that's just mine and brother  Greg's and friend Steve's catches.

Got Lucky Jeff .For some reason (Perhaps too many people keeping them to eat ) they are scarcer than recent years past . This one still swims.
