Thanks Bruce.....we average about 5" a year but often we will skip it all together.......I've got a foot of snow once the last 20 years back in 2010.....our most common snow storms are a noreaster that starts to our south and stays off shore........any other scenario is most likely rain......we got 6" this time and everything goes crazy, stores empty, schools and businesses close early.....frankly we only know how to prepare one way, that's for a hurricane......so most will do the same things for a big snow....call us Carolinians......
